Portraits

A portrait captures an image of a person in a unique way, and each photographer will capture the person differently. I love portrait photography for the reason that it is an intimate moment between the subject and myself. One of my many loves is children, mainly other peoples! Being a big kid myself, I can relate to children in many ways. They have a certain way of putting things back into perspective, and I only wish my life could be as simple as theirs.

Most of the images I take of children are outdoor enviroments. I find most kids will behave better for me if they are outdoors, rather than couped up inside their house. That said, I also get a lot of enjoyment from photographing kids in their own enviroments.
(Maybe I just love kids!)
